How much time should I plan for my visit?
Volo Museum is self-guided, so you can go totally at your own pace. Some guests do a quicker walk-through to see the highlights, while others take a deep dive—reading displays, taking photos, and exploring each section more thoroughly.
Here are the average visit times most guests spend:
Volo Museum: about 3.5 hours
Jurassic Gardens: about 1 hour 15 minutes
Titanic Exhibit: about 45 minutes
If you’d like extra time, our Platinum and Gold passes include free admission the next day, so you can come back and finish anything you didn’t get to. All other passes are valid for one day.
Is everything wheelchair and handicap accessible?
We welcome many guests who use wheelchairs and mobility scooters, and they have a great time visiting.
Most of the property is very accessibility-friendly, including automatic door openers on all of our doors. That said, Volo Museum is a historic property—the museum is converted from an 1800s dairy farm, and several buildings date back to the 1800s, so some areas have limitations.
Here’s what to expect:
Restrooms: Not all bathrooms are ADA due to the age of the facility, but we do have ADA-accessible and family restrooms available.
Exhibits with steps: A few exhibits require steps to view the most in-depth areas (for example, parts of our train exhibit). Even when steps are involved, those exhibits are still viewable from ground level.
Outdoor areas: Some outdoor paths are naturally hilly, so plan accordingly if you’re using a wheelchair or scooter.
We’re happy to help you plan the easiest route when you arrive—just ask a team member!
Can I bring my pet with me?
We love animals, but for the comfort of all our guests, we ask that you leave pets at home. This is out of courtesy for visitors who may have allergies or sensitivities to animals.
We do allow service animals, as regulated by the ADA.
What food and drinks are available on-site?
We have several on-site food and drink options during your visit. Grams Central BBQ is open daily from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and serves BBQ-style favorites. The Grams Central Ice Cream and Coffee Parlor is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and offers coffee, specialty beverages, adult beverages, ice cream, and other treats.
During peak seasonal months, you’ll also find additional options, including Mama Mia’s Pizza, plus hot dogs and snack foods available at Munchin Junction and Jurassic Jen’s.
Do you have bundle tickets, memberships, or group discounts?
Yes. We offer several ways to bundle and save.
The Platinum Pass is our all-admission option and includes entry to everything. The Gold Pass includes Jurassic Gardens and Volo Museum. Both the Platinum and Gold passes include a free next-day visit, which is a great way to save and give yourself more time.
If you’re only interested in specific attractions, tickets are also available à la carte.
We also offer Annual Passes, which give you a full year of admission for just $10 more than the ticket price.
Group discounts are available for parties of 15 or more.
