Website Terms of Service (VoloFun.com – Volo Museum, Jurassic Gardens, Titanic Exhibit)

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of VoloFun.com and any related pages, mobile experiences, online ticketing, and services (collectively, the “Site”) operated for Volo Museum, Jurassic Gardens, and the Titanic Exhibit (each a “Property,” and together, “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, purchasing tickets, or interacting with our online services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1) Who We Are / Scope
These Terms apply to:
Browsing the Site and viewing content
Buying tickets, memberships, passes, and add-ons
Booking events, group visits, and experiences
Gift cards (if offered)
Submitting forms, inquiries, reviews, or content
Some experiences may also be governed by additional rules posted at checkout or onsite (e.g., safety rules, age restrictions, photography rules). Those additional rules are part of your agreement with us.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to make purchases on the Site. Minors may use the Site only with a parent/guardian’s involvement and consent.
3) Tickets, Admission, and Purchases
3.1 Orders
All orders are subject to availability and our acceptance. We may refuse, cancel, or limit purchases for any reason (including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or policy violations).
3.2 Pricing & Fees
Prices and fees (including processing fees, taxes, and service charges) will be disclosed at checkout where applicable and may change at any time.
3.3 Delivery
Tickets may be delivered digitally (email/QR code) or through other methods shown at checkout. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking spam/junk folders.
3.4 Entry Requirements
We may require your ticket, a QR code, confirmation number, and/or a matching ID for entry. We may also enforce capacity limits, time-slot entry, or security screening.
4) Refunds, Exchanges, and Cancellations
Because admission and event inventory is limited, all sales are final unless otherwise required by law or explicitly stated at checkout or in a written policy on the Site.
Depending on the ticket type and availability, we may offer (at our sole discretion):
Date/time changes or exchanges
Credit toward a future visit
Refunds for duplicate charges or verified technical errors
No refunds are typically provided for:
No-shows or late arrivals
Weather, traffic, personal scheduling conflicts
Partially used tickets, memberships, or bundles
Closed or limited exhibits due to maintenance, safety, private events, staffing, or unforeseen issues
If an event is canceled by us, we will provide the remedy described at the time of purchase (commonly reschedule, credit, or refund).
5) Family Destination Conduct & Attire Policy
Volo Museum, Jurassic Gardens, and the Titanic Exhibit are family destinations. We expect guests to wear attire that is appropriate for a family environment.
We may deny entry or remove any guest from a Property (without refund) for clothing that, in our judgment:
Contains obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or hateful images or language
Is excessively revealing or not suitable for a family setting
Is intended to harass, intimidate, or provoke others
Creates a safety concern (e.g., clothing that interferes with rides/attractions or violates posted safety rules)
Guests may be asked to change clothing or cover up before being permitted to continue their visit. Decisions regarding attire are made at staff discretion to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all guests.
6) Memberships, Passes, and Benefits (If Offered)
Memberships and passes are:
Non-transferable (unless explicitly stated otherwise)
Subject to rules and blackout dates listed at purchase
Subject to verification (including ID checks)
Revocable for misuse, fraud, or policy violations
We may change benefits or pricing prospectively. We will honor purchased terms for the period already paid, unless changes are required for safety or legal compliance.
7) Gift Cards (If Offered)
Gift cards:
Are redeemable only as described at purchase
Have no cash value except where required by law
May be replaced only with proof of purchase and at our discretion
Cannot be resold without our permission
8) Onsite Conduct, Safety, and Removal
When you visit a Property, you agree to follow posted rules and staff instructions. We may refuse admission or remove anyone (without refund) for reasons including:
Unsafe behavior or failure to follow safety rules
Harassment, threats, or disruptive conduct
Intoxication or illegal activity
Tampering with exhibits, restricted access, or property damage
Certain experiences may have height/age/health restrictions and may not be suitable for all guests.
9) Photos, Video, and Guest Likeness
9.1 Your Photography
Personal photography is generally allowed unless signage indicates otherwise. Commercial photography, filming, drones, tripods, or professional equipment may require written permission.
9.2 Our Photography
We may photograph or record onsite and at events. By entering a Property or participating in an experience, you grant us permission to use your image/likeness captured incidentally for marketing, publicity, and operational purposes, without compensation, except where prohibited by law. If you have concerns, speak with a manager onsite where feasible.
10) Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—text, photos, videos, graphics, branding, logos, ticketing flows, and layout—is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view and use the Site for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:
Copy, republish, sell, or exploit Site content
Scrape or harvest data
Reverse engineer or disrupt Site functionality
Use our trademarks without written permission
11) User Content (Reviews, Forms, Submissions)
If you submit content (e.g., reviews, testimonials, photos, ideas, feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display it for business purposes. Do not submit content you don’t have the rights to share.
You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, threatening, or abusive.
12) Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
Use the Site for illegal purposes
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems/accounts
Introduce malware or disrupt services
Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation
Abuse promotions, discounts, or ticketing systems
Resell tickets where prohibited or against stated policy
We may suspend or block access for violations.
13) Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may use third-party providers (e.g., ticketing, payments, maps, analytics) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, or policies. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.
14) Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” We do not guarantee:
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
That information is always complete or current (e.g., exhibit availability)
That the Site will meet your expectations
Exhibit offerings, showtimes, special displays, and interactive elements may change without notice.
15) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR YOUR VISIT OR INABILITY TO VISIT A PROPERTY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE RELEVANT TRANSACTION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR $100 IF NO PURCHASE WAS MADE), WHICHEVER IS GREATER, UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
16) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Properties and their owners, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your submissions, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
17) Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information. (If you want, I can draft a Privacy Policy to match this Terms document.)
18) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
19) Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois (unless otherwise required by applicable law). Any dispute must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
20) Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
