Current Openings:

Volo Museum is looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to assist with the day-to-day care and operation of our property. We need someone who takes pride in their work, solves problems, and is willing to jump in wherever needed.

Starting pay: $18 per hour
Schedule: Weekend availability is mandatory, with flexibility during the week.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform light maintenance and custodial work
  • Identify problems and help find practical solutions
  • Safely operate hand and power tools
  • Assist with snow removal during the winter
  • Help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming facilities
  • Support other operational needs throughout the property

What We’re Looking For:

  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Capable of troubleshooting everyday maintenance issues
  • Comfortable using power tools safely
  • Willing to work indoors and outdoors in changing weather
  • Must be available to work weekends

AKA Collector car mechanic position.

Employer: Volo Auto Museum

Location: Volo, IL.

Full time, 5 days a week, 9AM-5PM.

Starting ASAP *hopefully not finishing until you retire.

$30-$40 hourly depending on qualifications. Overtime available.

Brand new shop facility! Great benefits-Vacation pay, time and a half overtime available, 401K plan, health insurance, Christmas bonus.

Job requirements: Must have experience with classic vehicles. Need to have your own tool box and tools.

We will require you to have carburetor experience as well.

Looking for someone who is motivated and is passionate about what they do.

We sell 1,000 cars a year and each car needs to be serviced and repaired as necessary.

Need to be able to diagnose mechanical issues. Example: There is a noise or vibration while driving, window doesn’t roll up properly, gas gauge does not work. These are typical items we would address.
