What to Expect
Field trips at Volo are designed to be flexible and easy to manage. Upon arrival, larger groups are typically divided into smaller groups to help improve flow through the attractions. Schools can choose to visit one attraction or multiple areas depending on their schedule, with the freedom to move at their own pace throughout the visit.

Who qualifies for field trip pricing?
Field trip pricing is available for schools, special education programs, and qualifying organizations. This program is not available for private parties, tour groups, or general public visits.
How much is the discount?
We offer 50% off regular admission for qualifying field trip groups. Pricing details will be confirmed based on your group during booking.
Is the visit guided or self-guided?
All field trips are self-guided. Groups are free to explore the attraction at their own pace without a set schedule.
Do you offer any educational materials?
Yes, we offer optional scavenger hunts and age-appropriate activity materials for school groups to help reinforce learning during the visit.
Do we need to book in advance?
Yes. We require at least two weeks’ notice to qualify for field trip pricing and to prepare for your visit, especially if your group plans to eat on-site.
Can we bring lunch?
Outside food is not permitted due to health department regulations, except in cases of special dietary needs. We do offer outdoor seating during fair weather, and limited indoor seating may be available on an individual basis when arranged in advance. Food options are also available for purchase on-site.
Is there a minimum group size?
Yes. Groups must have at least 15 paid guests to receive the discounted rate.
