Feel the thrill, hear the motors whine, and watch the sparks fly—it’s time for the ultimate showdown on the drag strip! Join us for our very first Power Wheels Drag Race on June 20th at the Volo Museum in partnership with Midwest Powerwheels.

The event will be included with Volo Museum admission (Volo Museum Tickets Required For Each Racer.)

Two at a time drag racing on 60ft asphalt.
Spectators line up along the track
10:30am check-in, event goes from 11am to 2-3pm.
Trophies handed out around 2-3ish

🏁 RACE CLASSES & RULES

Stock Class – 6 Volt
• Must run stock or stock-style 6V battery
• No modifications to motors or gearbox
• Parent remote control allowed
• Tire tread additions permitted
• Custom paint & decals encouraged
• Helmet required
Stock Class – 12 Volt
• Must run stock or stock-style 12V battery
• No modifications to motors or gearbox
• Tire tread additions permitted
• Custom paint & decals encouraged
• Helmet required
Modified Class
• First gear delete allowed
• Single motor setup (Power Wheels-style gearbox)
• May retain gears if desired
• Stock-style motors or 550 motors allowed
• Maximum: 24 volts
• Tire tread additions permitted
• Drive tires must be Power Wheels-style wheels
• Custom paint & decals encouraged
• Seat belt required
• Helmet required
• Safety kill switch required
Outlaw Class
• First gear delete with dual motors per gearbox
• Must use 775 motors
• Maximum: 48 volts
• 2WD or 4WD allowed
• Tire tread additions permitted
• Drive tires must be Power Wheels-style wheels
• Custom paint & decals encouraged
• Seat belt required
• Wheelie bar required
• Helmet required
• Safety kill switch required
• Chain-Driven Class
• For builds exceeding 36 volts
• Must use chain or belt drive system
• Must retain a Power Wheels-style body

Adult Class
Open class — anything goes (must be electric)
